Kevin was eating his cereal when his ears detected a creak.
He started and spun but his eyes saw no danger, so he turned back to his food.
His molars ground up the corn flakes that his tongue informed him were sweet.
His nose smelled a shirt that was too full of dirt to be worn out on a day of work.
His back felt a knife that protruded in front, all covered in blood and bile.
His eyes perceived his assailant, hooded and dark, as his vision blurred.
He fell in his bowl and his mind left an image of his girl as his body collapsed,
